When I get to the Aquarium, will it be easy to find parking?
|

Yes, there is a big car park opposite the Aquarium and it’s free.
Free shuttle from 10:00 to 19:00 every ¼ hour in July and August from the Port of Vannes.

What are the visiting times at which the Aquarium is least crowded?
|
- We advise you to come early in the morning when the Aquarium opens, to avoid the more crowded moments of the day and to come when the weather is nice.
- During the summer holidays, weekends are less crowded than weekdays.

Can I take photos or videos of the fish?
|
|
|
- We ask you not to take photos to avoid scaring the fish.
- You are allowed to film the fish but you must not use your flash.
|
|
|

What are the “biggest species” of the Aquarium?
|

You won't be let down if you wish to see the bigger species.
Come and shudder in the company of the
black finned sharks,
the
Nile crocodile,
30 year old
green turtles,
the
suckerfish,
the
green Moray eel
(measuring more than 2 metres long), etc.

On leaving Vannes Aquarium, there are plenty of other leisure activities in the area.:
- The Butterfly Garden : Magnificent butterflies flying freely in a tropical jungle
- Cruises on the Golfe du Morbihan (Gulf of Morbihan): Navix and La Compagnie des Iles
- Exhibition Hall: several exhibitions, trade fairs, and events all year round (consult the programme: www.lechorus.com )
- Walks : Very pleasant walks can be made from the Aquarium, along the Golfe du Morbihan (Gulf of Morbihan) as far as the Conleau Peninsula

- During the summer season at Vannes Aquarium, there is a bar service, brassere, crêperie (pancakes), and icecreams on the terrace.
- You can also picnic on the grass.
